  • Higher Ground is in a perfect location with an amazing range of food and drink. Good: The environment is relaxed and the service is average. The food is delicious. We had a butter-nut squash soup with a cheese sandwich along with mac & cheese. The portions were perfect and the quality of food was wonderful. Bad: The drinks were not as good as they could have been. They were good but the mocha was too watered down and the peach smoothie was was clumpy. The price was above average but we prefer to pay more to support a local place. Overall: The perfect alternative to the green corporate chain (ahem ... Starbucks).
