  • I had two experiences in one day at this store- one negative and one positive. The positive experience saved this review from becoming one star. my negative experience was similar with Marilou's below, I got dissed by a staff. I'm not sure which staff member was rude to Marilou, but for me, her name was Tina, I believe. I heard other staff calling her name. Now I am someone who is always very polite and nice to staff, I saw her at one of the makeover counters and wanted to ask her to recommend a contouring product. I started " hi I'm so sorry to disturb, are u busy? May I ask you to recommend a contouring product?" She replied impatiently" what are u looking for? What kind" Her impatience was so blatantly stated by her rudeness and annoyed face, At first I even thought maybe she didn't mean it, so I asked " I am not sure which kind is good" then she kept her whole go-away face up throughout, so I immediately said " well you are so busy it's okay." To which she said " okay" in a rude manner, and didn't even bother recommending a colleague to help me. Worst Sephora encounter I have had. I would like to compliment a pretty long wavy hair black lady staff though, I noticed she was just being so friendly to everyone, without having to be approached in the first place. she exudes kindness with her actions. I saw a self absorbed customer being rude to her, when she brought the customer a product she requested for, while that customer was trying on lipsticks and glued to her own image in the mirror, the customer kinda yelled " just give me a moment", as if she's royalty needing to be waited. but this staff member continued being nice to her and everyone else. Including me! Exceptional. I accidentally stepped on her feet and instead of screaming ouch, she said sorry to me?! Girl you too nice! I kept saying sorry to her too, and she gave me the warmest smile and kept saying it's okay! It's okay! If only everyone were like her on this planet, life would be beautiful! Compliments also to the guy staff member who checked out my stuff for me. Very nice too!
