  • I've been to Nogginz a few times since moving to Madison in February. If you're looking for a quick trim or haircut based on what you have, they get the job done. If you want some styling or recommendations on a new look, I'm not sure how much advice they'd be able to give you. The gals that have cut my hair were either going to UW Madison or had recently graduated, but they were all talented enough, efficient (my cuts took 15-20 minutes), and friendly/conversational. A few other positives include: short wait times (10 minutes is the longest I've waited on a weekday 4ish), reasonable price for a cut (a $20 bill will cover the charge for a guys' scut and include a decent tip for the stylist), and they don't annoy with trying to upsell you on styling products you won't want anyway.
