My last visit to Cleveland Airport was dismal.
A downed late night flight due to a plane with no radio; a town full of booked hotels; 90 degree weather; a sleepless night on an airport bench with an overly friendly arachnid large enough to hoist my carry on overhead; not to mention a return flight in a stale business suit, heels, and a Cleveland Indians T shirt.
You can imagine my trepidation.
But to my undiluted pleasure this most recent quickie trip was smooth, clean, efficient, and blissfully uneventful. Part of it was the conclusion of many upon many renovations. But if you're going to do it, do it right. And the airport founding fathers must have listened for a change.
The food court was extremely busy; but you would never know it: it was incredibly clean. The TSA folks had everyone moving at a good clip; no muss, no fuss.
And no muss, no fuss is exactly what I was looking for. As dull as no drama can be; I'll take it! Thanks Cleveland!
