| - Not the most pleasant of stays. When I booked, the only two things I requested was a room near the elevator because I have trouble walking, and a nice view. The lady at the front desk noticed my leg brace and even said "your poor leg." My room ended up being one of the last/furthest rooms on the floor. Oh and my nice view was a parking lot. I tried calling twice to ask to switch rooms, and no one answered. Had no choice but to walk back down to speak with someone in person. The lady that helped me didn't apologize or give two fucks about my disability.
Further, asked an housekeeper for a couple toothbrushes, never came. Later that evening requested for water bottles, those also never reached us. Had to call twice for both. Went to the pool to have a drink and relax around 4:45.. The restaurant and bar closed in 5mins. Their one-sheet of available hours and times was outdated. Ate at Rick's cafe for dinner, food was expensive and disgusting.
Two stars because, admittedly, the hotel and location are beautiful. What a waste, though.
Thank you, Westin for a great birthday and anniversary.
