  • Another favorite to add to my list of good Chinese restaurants in Madison. Double 10 has a very small dining area, so plan on getting takeout. There seems to be two menus here: the Americanized Chinese dishes and the more traditional Chinese dishes. I would definitely go for the traditional menu. Any of their eggplant dishes are good, and you can't go wrong with one of their spicy dishes. I don't know what the spicy dish I ordered was, but it had a ton of chilis and peanuts in it. The owners were very friendly, and I heard you can make special requests and they'll try to accomodate you. I'm definitely adding Double 10 to my takeout rotation!
