  • I took a basic sewing class with Koffa this past Saturday with my sister. Before this class, I had NEVER used a sewing machine before and by the end of class, I had made a crop top!! I took this class because I was interested in making an infinity dress (http://sewlikemymom.com/little-red-infinity-dress-tutorial/) and I was able to make it that same night - even though it took me about 7 hours... Still, she equipped me with the basic skills I needed to get started! The class itself was great. We found her on a living social deal (3 hours for $29). The class included materials and a sewing machine so all we had to do was show up. Koffa's instructions were very thorough and she repeated important steps a few times to make sure we understood her. The class was small and intimate so we each got a lot of attention. I have no complaints about the class and I would love to take another with her. I do suggest bringing a bottle of water since the drinking fountains weren't working when I went.
