  • Used bookstores can be a hit or miss for me. I love Thrifty Joe's for their selection. They typically have current best sellers (which is a major plus) and they even sometimes have less-mainstream newer books on my list (major plus plus). They also have an extensive classics collection and their inventory has very minor wear and tear compared to Bookmans. I wish they had a heavier DVD section but there's always Zia for that. I can safely say that I've never left Thrifty Joe's empty-handed.
