| - First off, please know that the Peppermill will almost always be packed when you visit. You will probably always have a wait if you want to sit down and dine. Lucky for you, there is an actual LOUNGE (with actual FIRE) off to the side of the host's kiosk. Go in there after you give your name, and enjoy a drink while you wait. Otherwise you'll be crammed up against Martha from Sheboygan and her husband, Herb, who lost a little too much at the penny slots and are throwing elbows and creating their own line for the counter spots (they're first come, first serve).
Portions are ginromous. Food is All-American. Haute cuisine, this is not, but satisfying to the American palate, it is.
Decor is fun, and this place is just kind of a fun gimmick. If you've got a tourist friend (or you are a tourist), looking for a "gosh, that's fun" kind of dining experience, then this is it. Think of it as an electric carnival 80s neon Denny's on acid.
