| - I loved everything about this place!! I love that it's in a house! I love the wood floors! I love that there's a juice & coffee bar in the back AND that they serve complimentary baby mimosas on Saturdays! There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking! Also, the other clients were friendly!
Kate (who co-owns the business with her fiancé) was friendly, welcoming, and encouraging--crucial when you're walking into an equipment-based workout for your first time! (I've taken a reformer class once, so I'm very inexperienced with this type of workout). I signed up for the free 9am class with Kate, thinking it was just a how-to, and also signed up for the 9:30 class with Julia. She explained that the 9am was actually a class but just shorter and graciously offered to move my credit for the 9:30 class, even though it was full, to another time. I was leaving town that night, so I just did both. I was toast after the 25 minute class, but great music and determination got me through the 9:30 with quick breaks and modifications.
If I lived in Charlotte, I would make this a regular part of my workout schedule. I think that in today's fitness tracking device obsessed world, we think that the faster we move, the harder the workout, and the better the results. Core-ology will prove to you that slow is better and definitely does not mean easier.
I am cheering for this business from New Mexico!! Thank you so much for your hospitality, and I will absolutely return when I am in town.
