  • After bringing mother home from this hospital's ER, she developed seizures overnight and had to be taken by ambulance again to another hospital. While she was at the CMC northeast hospital I noticed that she was displaying tremor like behaviors, stuttering and seemed unsteady. I pointed this out to the doctor who said she was just anxious. I didn't argue because I know that my mother does get anxious when she goes to the doctor. And she will sometimes I stutter. However I should have insisted that they examine her again. What I was seeing was a minor seizure that developed overnight into full-blown seizure the following morning. It really makes me angry to think that my mother was in my home all night having seizure like activity and was not receiving medical care.
