Having read the filtered reviews (most of which are mind-blowingly awful), I am shocked and appalled to learn so many people in Toronto have such horrendous taste in cupcakes. They're all on crack. It's the only explanation!!!
This review does not need to be long. All I need to do is point you guys in the direction of a handy dandy diagram I drew to explain the anatomy of their new-fangled ICE CREAM CUPCAKES. These are not, as my boyfriend and I assumed, a cupcake that replaces the buttercream frosting with ice cream. No, that would be way too easy.
This is a chocolate case with a layer of cake in the bottom (how they manage to keep it so fluffy, I'll never know. CAKE SCIENCE!!), a scoop of ice cream on top of that and then a healthy (ahem) top hat of buttercream frosting to finish it off.

Nobel Prize worthy.
NB: You can only buy the ice cream cupcakes in half a dozen increments. Tragic.
