Great place for an authentic Japanese Izakaya atmosphere - the waitstaff shout out Japanese greeting and thank you phrases, and the dim restaurant is buzzing with music and chatter. Food was a bit on the pricey side for the small portions, but taste and presentation were good (though not at Guu level).
They often give a dish or two on the house - we got bean tempura. The service is excellent, they take your jackets for you and come by to check up regularly. A satisfying dinner for two came out to just under $50.
