My dog was behaving weirdly the day before. He was walking like he's in pain. I didn't have an appointment and we haven't been to Point Breeze Vet in several years. So when I called, I spoke to Jordan and asked if there was any opening that day because I felt it was an urgent issue. If they couldn't see him, I would have taken him to the emergency vet. Jordan asked me a few questions about my dog, why I thought my pup was hurting, and was polite the entire time. She was able to squeeze me in and I had an appointment to see a doc within two hours of my call.
The vet tech came out to get my pup right on the dot. Was super super caring and calm. She obviously saw my pup was in pain and was soft, gentle, and caring towards him. Dr. Berger came in moments later and was the exact same way. She went to sit down on the ground next to my dog and was also super caring and gentle.
After assessing my pup, she gave me a general idea of what might be wrong. They wanted to try some med before they go into more extensive testing. Prescribed me the meds and told me to come back within a week.
I already started the first dose of meds and can tell a difference in my pup already. He's more active and seems less in pain. I was just so worried about my best friend but so happy to see him getting better.
My experience at this vet so far has been astonishingly wonderful. I couldn't have been more happy with how everything worked and turn out. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.
