rev:text	I always try to be fair when it comes to writing reviews, but this place really has no redeemable qualities. The new management company is absolutely terrible and does not care at all about the residents or the property. I had a leak in the ac unit in my bathroom for over a month and in spite of multiple requests and work orders, I had to go around the staff and email the management company with pictures in order to finally get them to fix it. The community director has zero integrity and blames the staff for all of the issues that occur and has no sense of ownership or responsibility for their actions (or lack thereof). If you decide to live here, just expect that maintenace will have to come out at least three times before anything gets fixed--and dont even think about expecting them to have a good attitude! Also, if you own a car, you might want to find another place to park it. My unit was on the corner of third ave and monterosa and in the year that I lived here a driver that was passed out at the wheel smashed into my parked car, my boyfriend's tires got slashed and my dad's handicapped van got broken into (who breaks into a handicapped van?) I thought it was just because we were parked on the street but a friend that parked on the top floor of the garage got his stereo stolen. I was told when I moved in that there is a security team patrolling the complex, but I only saw one security person the entire year I was here. The elevator in the garage is broken and opens and closes on its own. The gates hardly ever open properly if you're lucky enough to get your key to work.. The dog stations get so overflowed that they are disgusting and watch out where you walk when they run out of doggy bags! I know this isn't the complex's fault, but the amount of gun shots and police hunts in the area is absurd! I am not sure why, but for some reason this complex has some serious issues with APS too--the power in several buildings went out on three different occasions that I know of, and each time was for multiple hours at a time. trust me, you are better off choosing any other place to live than this one!
