Here are the facts, you can decide for yourself. I brought my car in because I could see oil leaking out of my vacuum pump and had a check engine light:
-Beck charges $72 to pull the fault code
-Beck charged another $145 (over 1 hour of labor) confirm a bad vacuum pump
-Beck charged billed another $568 or ~5 hours of labor to replace the vacuum pump
-Overall bill came out to ~$1000.
-When I got my car back, I discovered the engine panels were in the trunk.
Overall review: Labor hour billing was excessive. More expensive than it would have been to go to the Porsche dealer and the attention to detail was lacking. There are other shops in the area that will do better work at a better price.
