| - I've been practicing Baptiste power yoga for six years and had the great fortune to learn at the "mother ship" Baptiste studios in Boston. When I moved from Boston to Charlotte a few months ago, I figured I would find a decent yoga spot here but that it would never compare to my experiences in Boston. Wrongo! Yoga One rocks. All of the other reviewers hit the high points--great facility (showers, lavender scented towels, enough room to move around without trading sweat with fellow yogis = yoga studio Nirvana), reasonable pricing and a great, welcoming vibe from the staff. All of that is really nice, but the true greatness here is the teachers. In the month or so that I've been going to Yoga One, I've been offered a number of meaningful insights and some really excellent assists that have helped me to deepen and improve my practice. For me, that's the real test, the rest of the stuff is secondary. All of the instructors I've encountered are upbeat, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and clearly excited to be teaching yoga. Finding Yoga One has been a real highlight of my move to Charlotte!
