rev:text	I really like this Safeway, my FIL has been coming here for years, everyone is so friendly to him: he gets a kick out of shopping and picking up copious amounts of scratch-off Lottery tickets. Bummer that it closes at midnight, as I prefer to shop at odd hours to avoid crowds. They have a decent selection of organic fruits and vegetables, the staff members in the bakery, deli, meat and fish sections are all very helpful. Amanda at the Service Desk is super sweet, she is my FIL's favorite. They have a Starbucks, and a nice selection of flowers which my fellas bring me often :) One particularly hot summer day I was exhausted, we were checking out and I couldn't find my $100 bill to pay. A little embarrassing! Just as Scott was about to go check the car the young male bagger said "Miss, isn't it right there?" pointing to my shopping cart. It was indeed there...I'd dropped it. We thanked him profusely and tried to give him a tip, but he refused. We stopped at the Service Desk and told the Manager on duty; she thanked us for the heads up on the honest employee, and suggested we call the 800# on the receipt and let Corporate know. We gladly did. Close to home, decent prices, clean, good selection and great, honest employees: we are fans! * frequent $5 Fridays: offering substantial discounts on many items in the store * Meat Dept will butcher your selections per your instructions while you shop; some organic options available * nice selection of books, sometimes less expensive than bookstores * ** AZ Lottery tickets can be purchased and redeemed at Service Desk, or in machines adjacent (purchase only) *
