  • DO NOT LIVE HERE. I was one of the first residents to move in back in February. Unfortunately now I am a prisoner in my own apartment and am truly miserable living here at Citrine. With homeless people sleeping on the property, strangers able to enter the property and access the hall ways despite the claims of this being the most secure property and doors that are frequently unlocked despite the FOB scanners present at each door, the security here is little to none. I had a man follow me up all the way to the fourth floor shouting at me and chasing me, after running fast enough to escape him in the garage, he made it into my hallway due to the doors not being locked. The next morning, I go down to inform the office of my incident, and to tell them I tried every door in the building and they were all unlocked, showing them my self. They suggested that I call 911 when ever I feel there is an emergency, and that was it. I was so thankful for the helpful and sympathetic advice they offered suggesting calling the public police for a PRVATE PROPERTY INCIDENT. When I requested a patrol officer/ property security guard to be present on property, they said, "They don't really do much in our opinion." Well I'm not asking YOUR opinion. I'm telling you as a concerned resident paying a premium price on a premium property for premium safety that was PROMISED to me, that I am NOT receiving premium service. Just last week I came home again to unlocked entry doors, and when I went down to express my concerns again, I was informed that police are there to service me if I am ever scared. The disrespect received by me by this property is unbelievable, and they are not willing to help you feel any sort of relief or comfort in anyway. In addition, in my 9 months at citrine, my hot water heater, air conditioning unit, dishwasher, and laundry washer have all broken. At a BRAND NEW property. Not only did my AC go out in the hottest month of the summer, it took FIVE DAYS to be fixed. No offers to relocate me to a hotel or other unit were made, and when I received a bill of FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for an electric bill that month, I had to request a credit to my account. They came back with a less than 50$ credit and hung it over my head as a "good faith gesture" when I voiced my frustrations about the appliances going out. My voice simply hasn't been heard here and the disrespect, lack of safety, and inconveniences of the property are too much for any one to endure. DO NOT LIVE HERE, if you're considering it I would love to consult you first. Erica, the property manager here had given me no time of day, so I had to request to speak to someone else. She informed me there was no one else I could speak to. No one. I asked about regional managers, higher up at the head quarters, she said no one. After doing my OWN homework I have found plenty of other people to speak to. During a period of questions about my rent amount, I was granted a couple of extra days and a waive of fees since the topics about my payment were being discussed and I was waiting to hear back about which amount I would be paying. Erica emailed me at 7 pm saying my rent would be do the following day at 6 pm and I agreed. I go to pay my rent as I always have online, and the feature to make a one-time payment was removed since it was "late" (even though we discussed it would be). She didn't care to tell me that I would have needed to make a check out and use that to pay my rent. I have paid my rent here TEN TIMES each the SAME way and she didn't care to tell me I would have to do this process now? The banks are all closed and I will now ACTUALLY be a day late on rent because I don't have access to a blank check to deliver. The lack of consideration is beyond me with Erica. I will say Liz (Assistant Manager) has been very patient, kind, and helpful through out the process.
