| - We should have known we would have a horrible time upon arriving. The fact that the place was nearly empty on a Friday night was a red flag, yet we gave Sevens a chance anyway.
Our waiter was nice, helpful, and friendly, BUT one of the owners is VERY unprofessional and treated my party rudely. Dinner was uncomfortable. Our poor waiter kept being interrupted by the owner as well as other staff members while he was trying to serve us, and the food took forever.
To make matters worse, when the food did arrive, it was a huge disappointment. The food is mediocre and the quality questionable. The fish curry tasted like it had been previously frozen, and the tandoori chicken just tasted like simple grilled chicken. The rice tasted like it had been microwaved. It did not seem fresh at all. I don't understand why it took so long for the food to arrive, since it seems like they are just microwaving meals in the back.
The "spicy" curry was not spicy at all. Portion sizes are tiny for such a monstrous price. My tea cup looked like it had already been used, but I drank it anyway. Thank GOD there was live music, otherwise it would have been completely awkward, silent, and uncomfortable.
I would not return under any circumstances. If I could give this place -5 stars, I would do so. It feels wrong to even give it one star.
