I had bought the LivingSocial for the non-surgical facelift and it actually expired on Wednesday of this week. I did manage to get an appointment scheduled for wednesday a week and a half in advance as they seemed pretty busy. I got a call on Tuesday that I would need to reschedule my appointment for Friday. Of course I was concerned about my coupon expiring before then, but the gentleman rebooking me ensured my coupon would be accepted after the expiration date. Whew.... good to hear. I got to my appointment and Anita was running a little late but it was cool cause I had run into some unexpected traffic as well.
Anita was really nice and spoke to me about the entire procedure and told me what to expect. Its a radiofrquency tool that gets pretty hot and she had said most people could only handle the wand at 70% but I told her I was pretty tough so she said she could probly go full steam with me - and we did. She gave me some exfoliation to get started and then on with the ultrasound gel to help the current flow better. The wand was pretty hot but felt good. She informed me that at times in places it might "zap" a little due to too much or not enough gel. She pays close attention to your expressions and can tell when you are getting zapped per se. I was just sucking it up though and not mentioning the zaps as they reminded me of the laser treatment I had had done on my face before.
I was quite pleased with the ability to see a "lift" to my face right after the treatment.
I did tip Anita after it was said and done but I kind of got the impression she thought it wasnt enough. I am not really good with the whole figuring tips out in my head but 20 dollars on an 89 dollar Living Social deal.... maybe that wasn't enough.
I would like to try the treatment a few more times and see if if helps with the scars more as she indicated.
