Kensington Market was disappointingly grungier than I had anticipated. There are definitely some great food options in the area, but few enough street vendors I wouldn't call it a 'farmers market.' It was fun to poke through the vintage shops, but they were surprisingly expensive for quirky, beat up clothes. I did love this one little Indian shop that had some beautiful handmade rugs and bedding. If I'd brought a bigger suitcase I definitely would have bought a few things.
All around, worth taking a few hours to explore. I think if my expectations had been different I would have liked it more.
