| - It's a smaller boutique, so some of the Rosa Clara dresses I was hoping to see weren't in stock. But Natasha pointed me in the direction of a gorgeously simple Theia dress that was very close to being It. It was one that I would have never picked off the rack myself, but I ended up really liking it. If not for the fact that I wanted to change the sleeves in a way that probably wasn't doable, and the fact that my mom felt that the dress was a little to, uh, curve-hugging, I would have gone for it. I still sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have stuck to my guns with the Theia, but that's how it is when you're a bride - in the end you can only pick one, and the other top contenders will sometimes haunt you after the fact! ;)
When I had questions about the dress, Natasha provided the necessary info to get in touch with the designer directly, which was great. Overall it was a really pleasant experience. The only downside was that their selection was more modest than what I had hoped for, and some of the dresses I was dying to see simply weren't available. Be sure to call ahead to see what they have in stock if you have something in particular in mind. But they have a great eye for what a bride will look good in! Definitely worth a visit if you're shopping for dresses in Charlotte.
