| - Virgin Airlines is truly the worst Airline in the world. I would give them a zero rating if possible. I would never fly on Virgin Airlines again, even it were free. On my Flight I checked my (1) Bag at curbside and was immediately told the bag was over the 50 pound weight limit and had to pay a $100 penalty (Not a problem at this point) I was then told that if I had (2) separate bags under 50 pounds a piece I would not pay the $100 penalty but because it was (1)over weight bag I would. While I understand the policy, to price gouge a traveler for only having one overweight bag is unreasonable. Another words, I can have (2) 50 pound bags but not allowed to have(1) 80 pond bag (LESS WEIGHT THEN THE LIMIT)Next, the fight was delayed because Virgin had to wait 20 minutes for carry thru luggage to be loaded from a Austrian Flight. (None of these issues by themselves would prompt me to register a formal complaint but wait...there is more. When I take my seat there is a small chid kicking the back of my seat and the mother is laughing, I waited until the child kicked my seat 30 times before I politely asked the flight attendant to ask them to stop. By, the way this was a four and a half hour flight and many people needed to use the restroom, I got up to go to the back of the plane and the drink cart was blocking the walkway. The Flight attendant in the back told me to go to the front of the plane and use the restroom in the First Class section.I approached and noticed the Head Flight Attendant named Linda walk into the laboratory, her appearance was disheveled and hair and makeup not done like the other flight attendants, she is an older woman in her 50's and i thought nothing of it. I waited about 15 minutes and continued to look down the walkway to try the restroom at the rear of the plane and the drink cart was still blocking the way. I looked at my watch and noticed she had been in the First Class restroom for about 20 minutes, upon her exit her Makeup was freshly applied and her hair immaculate. I guess it is a Virgin Policy to let the head flight attendant apply her makeup and do her hair in the first class restroom while paying passengers wait in pain.Then to add insult to injury Linda stated " Sir you need to go to the back of the plan" I told her that the other flight attendant instructed me to go to the front of the Plane.I used the restroom and walked back to my seat and politely asked the other flight attendant for her name and she said, I think its Lisa or Linda, I really don't know her as I just met her. After about 30 minutes Linda, the Head Flight attendant approached me and asked if everything was ok and i said, not a worry in the world. She then tried to explain what happened and asked if there was a problem. I said no problem, I just wanted to share my customer experience with my followers on Linkedin, Facebook etc. She then became very agitated and said " Well I guess it will not be a good experience and walked away and said "how rude of me." She walked up to the front of the plane and a child about 3-4 years old walked up from the back of the plane and was stopping on the floor by our seat. the flight attendants actually watched the child stopping on the floor and crying for about 3-4 minutes before realizing that the child was unattended. So as you can see this comedy of errors adds up to one of the worst Flights in the 35 years I have been flying. Don't Fly Virgin, they price gouge, insult the passengers to there face, don't respect the passengers rights and in the end, have there head flight attendant Linda, performs her personal grooming in the First Class Bathroom while the passengers wait in pain.
