A few months ago I had my water pump go up on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had not found anyone yet in Las Vegas that I'd trusted with auto repair and been pretty lucky up to this point.
I took my Jeep to someone else close by because I couldn't drive it far (separate review). To make a long story short, I gave both the same opportunity - here's the keys, tell me what it will take to fix it.
- The first place quoted me more for the water pump (not a deal breaker) and then upon diagnostics determined that all the hoses and sensors needed to be replaced as well. (in my 3 year old car)
- Sun Auto replaced just the water pump and at my request, inspected the remaining components finding that none of them needed to be replaced.
They were honest, fair, and competent - not everyone is. I will definitely be taking my other vehicles to them.
The only downside was that they were closed on Sunday so I had to wait until Monday to pickup the car.
