At first glance this hair salon is well appointed inside a building adjacent to a gym and next door to a soul food restaurant and tattoo shop. There are barbers as well as cosmetologist and hairstylists.
My barber was pretty good the first time I went in, but my fellow co-worker didn't have a good experience with him. I went back this week for a haircut and this time he nicked me a few times with his clippers. Then time for the razor edge up...dear God help my skin as he did not use any shaving gel, cream, foam or anything. When I asked him for some kind of skin conditioning prior to him lining me up with a razor he simply replied, "Oh, I don't use any of that stuff." Well thanks Capt. Obvious. He messed up my hairline and finished me off with burning alcohol, no witch hazel or astringent.
To top it all off...a haircut at this salon/barber shop will run you $30, which, by comparison, is far too pricey for Cleveland. I think I'll skip it in the future.
