I rented a car from Thrifty for the first time. Their prices are great! It was a very nice car, a Ford Fusion. After working a 12 hour day, I got into the car and the battery was completely dead. There was no reason this should have been so; no light was left on. In called the Thrifty Road side assistance and was told it would be at least a 45 minute wait and that I'd be charged $64. The nerve!!; to charge for their bad car!! The security from my employer jumped the battery and it ran fine after that. Obviously, they don't check their cars well to let one w/ a bad battery by. When I returned it customer service was apologetic, but I don't think I'll risk renting from them again!
