  • Christopher Langlois gave me The Best Haircut I have ever had in my long looong life. I am not exaggerating. I have curly, wavy, wonky hair, so normally the day of a haircut is the first of several days that I need to "recover" from all the weird, unsettling, frizzifying things that typically happen during a haircut. All that combing and pulling does nothing to preserve or encourage my curls to do what's natural, so it's typically all out of sorts. For days!! Not this time! This was different, and exactly right! For the first time in my life, I walked out of the salon feeling quite sassy, with my pretty, bouncy, best version of my very own natural hair. Wow! I went to Christopher because he was listed as experienced with curly hair. That's an understatement! He knew So Much about curly-cutting, and while he worked he explained a dozen important things that have helped me work with my own hair. Everything he said and did made perfect sense, and the result was simply wonderful! Plus, the salon itself was very nice. The person who greeted us was friendly and welcoming to me and my daughter, who they encouraged to feel comfortable and at home while she waited for me. I'll go wherever Christopher is working for all of my haircuts from now on, but I hope it's right there at Salon Vivace, since the entire experience was very lovely.
