  • First time traveling into Montreal. Visited La Boom on a Saturday night with a group of my female friends. Honestly I was expecting so much more. The drinks were completely watered down, and they would charge you double the price to add a small shot to the cup. One of the female bartenders on the bottom floor had to be the rudest person I encountered in all of Montreal. Honestly if you do not have people skills maybe you should choose a different profession. Everyone seemed confused about the pricing. The promoter told us that entrance was free but when we arrived to the location we ended up having to pay (which was ok, I would have preferred honesty regarding a cover charge,) The only thing that salvaged our night was the music in the "Latin room." I would definitely recommend trying other options before heading to La Boom.
