  • An appointment was scheduled 8/2/16 for the time window of 8 a.m. to noon to move a Murphy bed. The company showed at 2:13 p.m. The entire job was to disassemble, move and reassemble the bed. The movers detached the bed from the wall and moved it to the new home. While the bed was being reassembled to the wall, the bed was dropped and broken. Robert, the manager, stated that it was the employees fault as they should have never removed anything from a wall, let alone reattach it, despite that fact that Murphy beds are typically attached to walls. Not once was this conveyed to me or the homeowners during the bidding or moving process to allow us to make a different decision. Regardless of the employees fault, it is still Express Moves responsibility to repair or pay for damages. Multiple attempts have been made to contact the company about a resolution for the damaged bed, but nothing has been done to resolve the situation nor have they kept in contact to try to resolve it.
