  • I've been to Sonoma Grille on several occasions and this was probably my least favorite experience. Due to its central downtown location surrounding by other great restaurants, I hold Sonoma to a high standard that it did not reach at my lunch on Sunday. The salads we ordered were tasty but inconsistent, each one of us had different amounts of different ingredients or some ingredients missing completely? Although our waiter was very kind and polite, he brought seltzer instead of tonic and completely forgot to bring us bread after we had asked. Finally, the meal was tasty but my Stripped Bass dish was slightly oily with A LOT of excess liquid. My risotto was swimming, which defeated the purpose of have the green pea mash because it turned into soup. Overall, expensive for not that great of a result. I hope next time will be better
