| - I was unfortunate enough to have an absolutely horrible experience at the park. I attended with my family, thanks to the generosity of an employee who gave me 4 of her free tickets. After waiting in line for the gates to open, we get to the turnstiles and were informed that two of our tickets had been used already. After speaking to someone who I was told was a supervisor, I was told one of the tickets was used in the beginning of June, and one was used the last week of July. Both of these are not possible, because, for one, the tickets were not even printed until July 10 and July 15th, so it was not possible that anyone used those tickets in June. And, the tickets have been in my possession since before the date in July when they were supposedly used. I was informed however, that its completely impossible that the tickets were duplicates or that there was an error, and that I must have used them. Essentially, I was called a liar by the supervisor. She then told me, "well, there is a deal on Groupon" and walked away.
While we were there, it also started to cloud over and there was lightning in the area so, understandably, they shut the slides down for safety purposes. Once the slides were shut down, the employees that were manning the lines cleaned up their areas and just walked away. No updates were given about the possible duration of the shutdown, or about the possibility of the park closing for almost an hour, at which point they just announced that the park was closed.
All around horrible experience at the park from the moment I entered the gate. No response has been received from the park after trying to reach out to them again about the ticket situation. If this is the way people get treated at the park, I cannot see myself taking another trip to this park any time in the future.
