  • We took advantage of the amazing deal for residents here over the weekend and I have to say I was so taken back by the beauty of this place! Right now they have a deal where you get the resort fee and parking waived for being a resident and the service is top notch! We were greeted by the valet, and made our way to the front desk where the ladies were super sweet (and let us check in early!). I love their outfits, lavender peplum tops and grey pants?! How amazing! Better than the traditional black blazer you see at most front desks. Our room was plush, very modern (think grey tones throughout and polished cement) and had hints of the old resort. It came with some good books that were great to take to the pool and read. I LOVED the bed and the bath products. I found it interesting that the spa they are referring to in their pamphlets is Sanctuary (right down the street). I did not get services so I cannot comment on those. Let's talk about the pool! It was a beautiful view of the mountains, though the pool felt like bath water because it was hot, it was still amazing to dip in for a bit. I ordered a fresh pressed watermelon juice which had lime and Himalayan sea salt that really hit the spot. Oh! And countless water refills which was much needed. Thank you! There were tons of places for a good view around Mountain Shadows, watching the sunset from the viewing deck overlooking the golf course was honestly the best thing I've done in weeks. Check out was a breeze and they even allowed for a later check out! Don't be worried about the construction not being completely done for this place, as it really was a fun time and the price is hard to beat!
