  • Our experience with The Sunny Plumber's Mike and Seth was great. Things happened at another site and we got started a little late with the job, but Seth had called ahead to let me know what was going on, so I appreciated that. I am not unfamiliar with performing repairs and having to deal with whatever the previous person did to correct a problem. Sometimes things just take more time than expected, but keeping me informed and not leaving me wondering what was going on is exactly how it should have been handled. Seth took the time to do quality work, even staying very late into the evening and going through the work with me to ensure that I was comfortable with what had been done. I noticed a few years ago that several, but not all, houses in our neighborhood had what looked like an extra valve on the water line going into the house. I learned what those probably were when "high water pressure" came up in a health check of our plumbing. (When we used Goettl to replace a failed air conditioner a couple of years ago, they checked out a few things). I never really thought it was THAT important, so we didn't to it then. I mean, who doesn't like enough pressure in their showers? Seth noticed the high pressure while doing the other work, probably more than usual because he was working late at night. He mentioned it to Mike and we about how that could be a detriment to the end devices in addition to the pipes themselves. It turned out that a "vibrating pipes" issue that we'd been having with one of our showers was likely the result of excess pressure. Note that our excess isn't just a few PSI, but more than double, depending on the time of day. When he came back to check on the original work, Seth put in a pressure reducing valve and adjusted it to the recommended pressure. Again, he did quality work and reviewed it with me. What's even better is that I have yet to hear the pipes make the awful "rattling" noise since then. In addition to the quality plumbing work, I appreciated them taking the time to answer my questions.
