With the intent of restoring it, I recently pursued a vintage BMW for purchase at Town and Country. As I live about 2000 miles from Phoenix, I submitted a comprehensive list of questions about the car to the dealer, and I arranged an inspection at a local mechanic at my expense.
Perhaps my requests may have been too much to ask as in the most recent email that I received from a dealer representative, I was told by a staff member that 'the things that you expected from me for a $2500.00 car was really quite ridiculous.' I quoted that because that's what I was sent. I was moved to wonder if sincere consideration at their lot was reserved for those who spent a certain amount of money.
Without question, in my opinion, their treatment of me amounted to the most clownishly unprofessional interaction I have ever experienced in dealing with any business. No scenario exists where I would buy anything from these people.
