This place is great most of the time. First two trips there were phenomenal. They saved the day three times for me so far with only one screw up on their part.
I bought a capacitor and fan motor for my ac unit saving me hundreds if not thousands in repair and replacement costs.
Unfortunately, on my third trip there traveling 15 miles away the counter person who pulled the part I needed for my oven didn't bother to listen to me about the brand I had or look at the pictures I took of the interior of the oven just to verify. He was so confident of his knowledge that he was unwilling to listen to me.
Anyhow, he gave me the new part matching it to the broken one. It didn't exactly match. But I figured he was the expert, that he was so confident that he got the right part, I trusted him.
Forty-five dollars and 4 hours later the part he pulled didn't fit. I was ticked off because this wasn't down the street and I had a hunch it wasn't the right part. Plus, I was gonna have to fight spaghetti bowl traffic at rush hour to go back, return the wrong part, get a refund and hopefully get the right part.
I got there and explained the situation. This time Monte helped me saying what I had thought. The igniter was for a GE model, not a Kenmore model that I had. Five minutes later Monte pulled the part and matched it up with my broken one which was exactly the same.
To close the deal and do a make good, the manager granted my request that I be compensated for my inconvenience giving me a $10 discount. I ended leaving a happy customer because of the manager and Monte.
An hour later the part fit and my oven was working again.
