| - My car was rear-ended and this body shop was recommended to me by State Farm. From start to finish, this was a miserable experience. The woman who is the liason between the insurance company and the body shop, Sandra, was absolutely horrific to deal with. She was unfriendly, curt, condescending, and refused to acknowledge when something was wrong and their fault. I was scheduled to bring my car in but it would not start. I got State Farm to authorize towing from the body shop. I contacted Sandra to let her know what was going on and she seemed very annoyed that there was going to be a delay in getting my car there. She said she would have a tow truck sent out to me by 1 p.m. I called her at 12:45 to make sure the tow truck was still going to be picking my car up and she replied that it would. I was at my home at 12:55. Waited till 1:30. No tow truck. I called the body shop and the receptionist said Sandra was on her lunch break, but she'd let her know I called and the tow truck hadn't arrived. Waited till 1:55 and no call back from Sandra and no tow truck. My car was designated undriveable by the insurance company, but I got it jump started and drove it to the body shop which was BAD because the rear door flew open on the highway. I walked in to the body shop and they let Sandra know I was there. I waited another 10 minutes before she even came out and another 5-10 minutes as she talked to a co-worker KNOWING I was standing there waiting. Never even acknowledged me or said, "Give me a minutes, I'll be with you shortly." When she finally did talk to me, she said "So you got the car here, huh?" I said I did because the tow truck never showed up. She looked up at the clock, uttered a "hmph...I'll have to find out what happened," and never offered an excuse or apology for the fact that I waited an hour for a tow truck she guaranteed would be there. Given, I received almost daily email updates that gave me relatively no information at all, but at least they were sent. I was told after they had my car for about three weeks that my car wouldn't be ready until the following week. However, received a call on Friday at 5:30 that my car was ready and I could pick it up by 6. Insurance companies will not pay any more than they have to for rental cars, so when she let them know my car was done on Friday, Friday was the last day I could have the rental without being charged. I work till 5:30 and with Friday evening traffic, there was no way I could pick up my car in time. I was charged for a day of rental, and being that I was told that my car wouldn't even be ready until the following week, I wasn't sitting by my phone waiting to be told to come pick up my car. The actual body work seemed okay, I didn't closely inspect it. They did clean my car, which was nice, but there were ants crawling all around my car when I got it back. I picked it up and drove straight to a dealership and traded it in. I'm sure the people who do the actual work at the body shop are great, but I'd never in a million years recommend it because of that horrendous person with subpar customer service skills.
