  • Solid 1 Star for the sunshine being out, having towels and access to alcohol. Went for a friend's birthday, where we were put on the guest list and able to get in free before 2. The walk from the hotel to the actual beach club is a bit further than most but we were excited to have a fun day so it didn't phase us. When we got to the entrance there were a few different lines, we went to the one for guest list since we were on it. We were immediately told we couldn't have our small bags for security purposes, understandable. Then we had to ask what to do with them and were advised to check them. Onto the next question, we had to ask where do we do that, the response was in the hotel. We advised them we weren't staying there and where exactly did we need to check them. He told us at the bell desk then tip them later. The employee was unsure about my friends small bag so he said he'd call a manager. During this time we had our arms stamped and given our pass to get back in, advised it would be a quick pass in from a different line. We ended up having to find the manager ourselves, he was short and said all of "your bags cannot go in there, go check them" excellent example of opposite customer service. After our 20min round trip hike, we came back to the entrance/ no bags in hand aside from my friends small purse that was acceptable. We walked to the line the first security guard told us to get in, which we were immediately told by a second employee we can't be in that line and get back in the original. After a solid 40 min of the bag debacle we got in and all needed a strong overpriced drink. Once we finished it we were out of there. Our key chain hand sanitizer was also thrown out- maybe fear of seeing people bathe in it after getting out of the overcrowded pool of pedestrians spilling booze(among other liquids) in it. Security- not professional or undertrained in their position/could just be a mix , space- none, music- mediocre, drinks- overpriced. Can't imagine anyone who would want to pay to go here, more power to them.
