  • The Praying Monk was ok. The atmosphere, music and beer/wine list were spot on and set our expectations high. But the food that all four of the people in our party had was mediocre at best and the 'Taste of Germany" beer taster was really just 3, 2oz shots of beer for $8. Lastly, the service was decent but our waitress failed to mention that we were there during happy hour. Overall the Praying Monk was fine but we won't be going back.
