| - We took our older very sick and fragile female dachshund here on a Sunday after she fell off the couch and hurt her neck and wouldn't walk. We knew we had to get her to a facility that offered laser spine treatment since she has a history of neck and back issues and always responded real well to laser therapy in the past.
We thought for sure she blew a disc in her neck.
Though they are not an emergency vet clinic, they are open 7 days per week until 10PM, and they accept walk ins for a little bit higher fee which was really quite reasonable and affordable.
We waited about 45 minutes to be seen, and Dr Jang was the vet who saw us. She gave her a thorough neurological exam of her neck and spine, and as it turns out, it wasn't as bad as we initially thought it might be. It was more stiffness and shock than anything else.
We were also able to get her a laser treatment for her neck spine and shoulders right then, and will be bringing her back for a few more treatments in the next couple of weeks.
They only charge $25 per treatment and offer packages for multiple treatments which are well priced also.
Ironically, In Los Angeles, they charged us $25 per spot and close to $500 for their packages, whereas this place does the whole spine for $25.
I found Dr. Jang to be knowledgeable and compassionate not pushing anything that was not needed, and she took our dog's health history very seriously knowing she couldn't get certain meds because of her weak heart and Cushings Disease.
Needless to say, after one laser treatment, she is back up on her feet and slowly walking around again. Laser therapy is a real miracle.
We already have a new vet here in Phoenix, but this place is a great back up for us, and will definitely utilize their laser therapy services.
I highly recommend them.
