We had such a bad experience in Apple store in Downtown Summerlin, first day took us 3 hours to diagnose iPhone 7 Plus finally they changed the battery Charged $30 took it home the battery went from 100% to 20% , today we went back to same store spoke to store manager (Steve) explained the issues camera is not working and battery is getting hot (defective battery Apple has issued for last 12 months) the tech took a note in writing (they also email it for documentation) which states that everything looks good from exterior including home bottom, the tech take it back for another 30 min , that camera repair will cost $79 etc.... we. Decided to wait but before we left home bottom is not working which it was working before the tech took it back for diagnostic
We asked to why home bottom is not working they said it's because it's not Apple LED it's different
So we asked if that's the case why did you open it ? Because our phone home bottom was working
The store manager Steve was not friendly and would not help to fix our phone. So I decided to call Apple support to speak to someone about the way we were treated at the store, after 45 min wait we were able to speak to lady name Anthonia , she was very understanding and read all notes and the way we were treated in the store, she send email directly to Summerline store to replaced the phone at no cost
My wife drives back to Summerlin store speaks to another manager they pull up the letter directly from Apple to replaced it , but the store manager wasn't there and they would not do anything to replace our phone! I'm very disappointed I spent over $24,000 plus last year on 26 iPhone and other products
Have been loyal Apple customer for 8 years plus
And now the way we were treated is extremely disappointing for a number ONE Compton the world.
I want to express my voice as I been in hospitality business for 40 years and never treats anyone like the way we were at Apple store in Summerlin.
