  • We started our Durango buying experience at Avondale Dodge, where we had previously purchased a Caravan and a Ram 2500. Both were good buying experiences. When it came to the Durango however, the salesman there was only willing to push his 2016, no help trying to get us the 2015 Durango we wanted. So our search continued. Next stop, the Internet. See who has the car we want. Our search on Dodge's site took us to Airpark Dodge. Their site had two white limited 2015 Durangos with the blacktop package. Their internet price was listed. "We can do better" I told myself :) I sent an email to the Internet department. James Wilkins responded around 8pm. I was pretty surprised that the Internet department would still be working then. We exchanged emails a few times trying to work out a deal. Every time he said "come here, we'll make it worth your drive". It was a 30 minute drive each way. All said and done, he did make it worth our drive. During "negotiations" on the car, for lack of a better term I will call them that, we asked James if we could remove some of the add on stuff. He came back from the sales manager's office, no problem. Those were gone. No haggling on trade in value. They gave us over KBB, exactly what Avondale was going to give us. Over all, an excellent buying experience. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the experience. James even threw in a couple key chains to go with the new keys. Beautiful car, but an even more beautiful deal. Thanks for all your help James!
