  • DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. My niece stayed here on a bachelorette weekend in mid June. Their room was robbed whilst they were out of the room for lunch, for about an hour and a half. When they got back to their room, neither of their cardkeys would work, and they had to get Security to let them into the room. Their room had been robbed, and their laptops, jewelry, credit card, and some cash were stolen, along with my niece's passport and visa, and work ID. The hotel told them that the Risk Management team were gone for the weekend, and nothing could be investigated. The hotel lied and told them the police had been called on the day of the robbery. They were not called, and did not come to talk to the women until the next day. The Bellagio managers were NOT helpful at all, did not call to check on the women, offered them no compensation, and in fact, CHASTISED them for talking about the robbery in the halls where it was overheard by a maid. "Is there still a problem?" Yes, asshats, there is still a problem! The Bellagio told them that a man (whose name they know from HIS card key, supposedly), tried to access their room "several times" while they were gone for the hour and a half, but he was "unsuccessful" in getting in. They say that no one entered their room. Really? Then where is all their stuff? Did the maid take it (doubtful)? Why did their card keys not work when they got back? The Bellagio has claimed NO responsibility, despite their knowledge and admission that there are cardkeys out there that can access rooms. They have offered no help, no compensation, and say that nothing happened as there was no record of anyone entering their room. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This robbery was not the only one on the weekend of June 15th. There were several other cases, found online, in which rooms were entered, some WITH PEOPLE IN THE ROOM SLEEPING. The Bellagio claims no responsibility for any of them, and have ignored all those with damages. As far as the Bellagio is concerned, none of them ever happened.
