  • 3 different biospheres under one roof made for an overall fun day! The building and exhibits are aging gracefully, but aging nonetheless. The monkeys, otters and fish were definitely highlights of the visit! Many of the other enclosures housed some really neat animals such as the lynx, bats and penguin exhibits. These exhibits were unfortunately a bit of a disappointment due to the aforementioned aging. The Lynx was hardly visible as it had climbed the side of the enclosure and tucked itself away in a non-visible area that was surrounded by wire (to deter it from being there?). The penguins and puffins appeared to be overcrowded. Few of the birds were active, and it was standing room only on the rocks! Updating and remodeling the enclosures could give the animals more space and a better animal viewing experience for the guests. Much of the interactive technology did not work. The touch screens were unresponsive, and we were unable to identify many of the birds and fish because of this! While we have made several suggestions for improvement based on our visit, running such a large attraction must be very costly. Our tickets were 15$ apiece, which was very affordable and worth it! Overall, we had a great day at the Biodome!
