  • Comfortable rooms, crowded property, lots of extra expenses, and poor attention to detail. We signed up for a 3 day Palazzo package strongly motivated by the Frank Sinatra show. Our reservation confirmed that by email. At Check In the rep said we could pick up our tickets at any box office and printed a coupon saying Frank Sinatra show. At the box office they said that show ended 1 month ago. Do you really think they didn't know that? Because it was the holidays there was very slim pickings for an alternative. It is a pretty property. It's swarming with people all the time which may be good for many folks. Lines for everything, including just checking in. Included in your fees is a morning coffee. But the size they 'give' is tiny, smaller than the smallest size they sell. For my wife and me they suggested pouring both the tiny coffees into one cup and buying another coffee. Before I've had my coffee is not the best time to eff with me. Why not just acknowledge that the 'free' coffee is a trick, and we can find somewhere without a line to buy it. The phone at the desk in the room was programmed to ring busy no matter what button we pressed or even dialing 0. So many little things that suggest poor management and training. Finally we were there the week that it was revealed that Sheldon Adelson had bought the local newspaper, the Review-Journal and had planted a story by a fictitious reporter slamming a local judge whom he had testified in front of a few months back. Yes, the same owner who likes to buy GOP canddiates for president. So you can also consider who you're giving your money to...
