| - This review is based mainly on the service since I only had a drink there. My friends ordered drinks and omelettes and while the food was good, they were a little stingy on the potatoes (three half potatoes? Really?). The waiter came to take our order, returned with our drinks and my friends' food a few minutes later and we were basically forgotten from that moment on. He never came back to check if everything was okay with the food, if we needed something else (my friend wanted milk for her coffee), if we wanted water (nope, we didn't even get water). The waiter left at the end of his shift and if I hadn't noticed, we would've been confused as to who our new waiter was. Our new waiter didn't pay attention to us either, so it took forever to get our bill. It was only when we started putting our coats on that the (I assume) owner or manager noticed us and said something to the waiter (probably along the lines of "did they pay?" based on her facial expression) and that we were finally able to get our bills. I paid in cash and wasn't even asked if I wanted change (I didn't, but still). My friend paid with her credit card and while she was busy inputting the tip info, the waiter came, took her card a little agressively and tapped it for her as if she was taking too long. Rude. Finally, we were seated at the back and all we could hear was a door constantly slamming as the staff kept going in and out of a room where they keep the cheesecakes.
While I don't doubt the cheesecakes are good, this city is full of places that offer good cheesecake AND good service, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
