  • I'm glad to have another place to go to nearby where I can hang out with other mommies. It's not quite walking distance but a great place to start off with before a casual stroll in Leslieville. I went for the first time yesterday and found it to be similar to a place closer to me (Oaks 'n Acorns). Some differences: - strollers can be parked inside (yay!) - you can keep your shoes on until you go inside the play area (which you will have to in order to use the washrooms) - they have sanitizers for you to spray down the toys and also an area for you to put your toys in if your little one has decided to use it as a chew toy - you don't have to pay if you don't intend to use the indoor play area (yay!) - you can't bring any outside food in (which I assume includes baby food, but I'm not sure about that one) I had a latte and it was great. Similar to many lattes on Queen Street and served in a large bowl or to-go cup if you prefer. There were some snacks and baked goods like scones and muffins which looked tasty but as I had just had lunch, I didn't bother trying any. There were definitely some regulars there and they also have a lot of programs at the store for kids, but were run by other companies. Lighting was a bit on the dark side, but was decently clean. I did see food bits here and there but I guess that really can't be helped when you have a place catered to parents and young children. I will probably return as it is a convenient place to go with other parents and children can go run amok in the indoor areas.
