Had a great meal last week. We were looking for a good Italian restaurant close to the Embassy Suites - and found it, right across the street. It was a Monday night so it was a little slow but that turned out to be great for us as the owner waited on us, spent quite a bit of time chatting and it was wonderful. He's also knowledgable about bourbon and wine - he turned me on to a new bourbon. Food was great. I had the Maltagliati- can't beat pasta made in-house. Hubby had a few appetizers that we also very good. Fun place, great food, great owner. When in Phoenix, i would go back.
It's a little tricky to find if you're not from the area, be persistent, it's worth it.
