  • Michelle at Gypsy Tattoo is absolutely incredible. I contacted her from the other side of the country (I live in California) about getting a matching tattoo with my brother and 2 sisters while we were all in the Pittsburgh area for the holidays. We wanted a simple all black-treehouse tattoo in honor of the one we had growing up. Michelle was so incredibly helpful throughout our email conversation. I sent her reference photos, and she drew up the perfect design. Even my brother, who was the most nervous, fell in love the second he saw her design. She opened the shop for us on a day when the shop is usually closed, and made the whole experience wonderful! We had no idea when we would all be together next, and she made sure to get them all done so we could be with each other. It was all of our first tattoos, so she made sure we were calm and comfortable. The tattoos turned out AMAZING!! It was better than we ever imagined it. The shop is clean and welcoming, and she was incredibly accommodating. My brother and sister-in-law have already contacted her to see when they can come in for their next piece, and I will absolutely be going back the next time I'm in the area!! Perfect experience.
