| - My Husband decided to spoil me and sent me to the Stillwater Spa. As soon as you walk in you feel the professionalism.
The front reception is very nice, with a waterfall behind the desk. I was greeted by a hostess and she confirmed my services I would be receiving. She called out the therapist that would be taking care of me. She took me into the change room and showed me the lockers, the hot tub, sauna and showers. I already knew I wasn't going to want to leave this place! I changed into a robe and slippers and went into the waiting room. The waiting room has big comfy chairs and couches, with a fireplace. My therapist returned with a glass of water and cranberries. She took me into the first room where I would have my massage and mud wrap. After having me change onto the table she entered and asked if I would like any aromatherapy in my oil. I choose the citrus option. I had a full body massage, she was happy to be able to do a bit of therapeutic work on me, but I was so relaxed. After the massage she had me change and took me to a back room while she got the mud wrap stuff ready. The room was very dim and had 4 loungers in it, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at one point. When she was ready I got changed again onto the table. The mud wrap went really well, she did a great job covering everywhere. She wrapped me really well, it was so warm and comfy! She then did a face massage while I laid wrapped up like a human burrito. That was my favorite part! After the hour, she had me hop in the shower and wash the mud off and change. I had a pedicure next but the woman wasn't ready for me, so my therapist had me wait in the waiting room. They had some baked goods and snacks for while you wait, I wasn't about to pass up anything in this experience! After about a 20 minute wait the esthetician came and got me. The pedicure area is quite cool, its all tiled and the chairs are in a line one behind the other, not side by side. The pedicure was good, my feet were in good shape, so she gave me a long foot massage to kill time. Again I was just fine with that! After all my services I went in the sauna for a bit, then had a shower. I walked out of there feeling so refreshed! This experience was definitely one of the nicest things my Husband has ever done! I think the total of my services was around $300, I was there for about 4.5 hours though!
I had an a amazing time at the Stillwater. I really hope I can return to this spa someday soon, they have a great reputation and I feel it is well deserved! This is a great place to spoil yourself or to be spoiled by someone!
